Recipe by Cal Reynolds

Ingredients

  • 3 medium sized sweet potatoes (~2 lbs)
(Pro tip: Make sure they're around the same size)
  • Ghee
  • Salt
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans
    Maple Glaze: (Combine all ingredients)
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Note(s): Measurements are estimated, adjust ingredients to your liking.

Directions

  1. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into your desired shape/size. Note: cooking time will vary on size.

  2. Get your FINEX 14" Cast Iron Skillet going over medium heat. Add in a couple tablespoons of ghee. Once melted, add in the potatoes, season with salt then mix. Make sure they're evenly distributed on the pan.

  3. Pop the potatoes into the oven at 400°F. Let cook until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Should take around 25-35 minutes.

  4. Once they're about done, remove them from the oven. Add the maple glaze and the chopped pecans. Give it a good mix then place them back into the oven for another 8-10 minutes.

  5. Top with an extra sprinkle of salt and cinnamon then ENJOY!
